This is the sequel to PURE MAVIS, that depited my precious family.
I have been working so hard to get everything done. It has really woke up some old memories. I find myself smiling alot.
I can’t wait to see everyone Saturday night!
Today I leave for Taylor County, Ga. and my 30th High School reunion.
I treasure those days, but would not want to go back. If I knew then, how things would be now, I would be thrilled! I could not possibly have a better life. I get to work on art all day, I have a huge circle of friends, I get to travel.
I am going with my dear friend Buddy Wofford. He is an amazing friend and support for me.
I can’t wait to see everyone!
I promised that I would land back on earth after Inman Park. Despite the rain, Inman was a great experience for me. It made me realize just how much I am over looking as an artist.
I am going to do Indie Craft Experience on June 7 at Centennial Park. It have been surfing their Web site and have been reading about some remarkable experiences.
Also, I ‘m very excited about being accepted into Naked Art in Birmingham Alabama.
As Debi West says TGIT (Thank God it’s Today)
I am in the minst of the week before Inman Park madness. I have a certain number of pieces that I want to have and I am getting close.
I fluctuate from looking at my body of working a thinking “I don’t have a damn thing” and “man, I’m the greatest artist on the face of the earth”. Nowhere in between for me.
I am immersed in “the artist zone” and it’s a real safe place for me.
After Inman, I will post pictures. That is after I do a crash landing back onto earth.
This is my first blog post.
I hope it becomes a medium that allows everyone who encounters it to become a more creative person, no matter what their passion.
I hope this blog merges people I already know with new people and we become one happy family.
I can’t wait to see who comments first.
